How it started
I was advised bed rest during pregnancy. This gave me time to knit. I was knitting for a baby imagining its face and features, not knowing if it would be a boy or girl. It was all love that was binding the threads and giving it a shape. My first was a cap and it seemed to me like the Holy Grail of caps.
The art of knitting and crocheting has actually been forgotten. I remember my dadi and nani making beautiful sweaters, caps and shoes. They looked so colourful and cute. I still have them as a cherished memory. Also in today’s modern times, Love is priceless so are our dadi and nani.
Little Croche Creations is also an effort to keep up the dadi nani culture of crochet and knitting alive. We are proud of our origin and we are there with hope and pride.

The Beginning
The pandemic has exposed the vulnerability of many families who depend on a single income source. When they lose their breadwinner, they face not only financial hardship but also emotional trauma. We wanted to do something to help these women rebuild their lives and their self-esteem. That’s why we founded Little Croche Creations, an organisation that trains them in various skills such as knitting, crochet and design. Our aim is to empower them to create beautiful products that express their love and care for others. Little Croche Creations is more than just a business, it’s a community of women who support each other and overcome challenges together.
